Looking to sell my DONZI. This boat has always been garage stored. It only has 415 hrs. Includes custom Roberts steel trailer painted to match with brakes. Boat is stock with original paint. Accessories include trim tabs (motor replaced), windshield, remote electric light, red pin strip, 4" compass, cockpit bolster, two stainless steel props, extended exhaust tips and storage wells in engine compartment. As an added bonus I have much of the original paperwork including the DONZI ship papers holder. Both the cockpit cover and full boat cover were replaced recently. 330 h.p. mercruiser. The boat is in excellent condition with few gelcoat "spider" cracks and runs great. The boat is currently in Buffalo, NY. Firm at $20,000.
If anybody is interested I also have a full DONZI catalog that includes photos, equipment list, specifications for 16 ski sporter / 18 - 2+3 / X18 / 20 Hornet II / Criterion / Criterion II / GT 21 / and F-22. Based on the clothing style and haircuts I think they are from the 70's ?

Beautiful boat. We have one just like it, same year and color. All original too, until I started fooling with the engine. It still ran like a top. Does your have the Trs and Merc tranny? I love the buttery smooth shifting. Good luck with the sale.

That's a great boat......I'd give top dollar for an early one like that (If I didn't have my Magnum....:))

LOVE the steering wheel........

Yes the boat has a TRS #2 drive with a mercy marine transmission. This provides smooth shifting. No modification to the engine. It is very reliable and starts / runs great. 4-5 yrs ago the carburetor was replaced. Great pick-up on the steering wheel. It is white to match the interior seats.

Took the boat out of winter storage and spent the day cruising around Grand Island. The boat ran great-started with first turn of key. I would love to sell the boat this season so a new family could enjoy it as much as we have. Drop price to $18,000.

Lakeview - Just wanted to take a minute to wish you well on the sale of your 22 Classic. She is beautiful and I wish I could buy her from you. I love the color and especially the interior with the tuck and roll side panels. I think you really have a great package there. Durable and most important, turn key fun.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. She really is a beautiful boat. I grew up with Donzi's and my dad still has a 1980 classic 18. It is hard to make the decision to sell this boat however with time constraints of my family and work it has been seeing little water time. I feel its a shame to sit in a garage. Hopefully she will find a new home to "run wild" this summer.

That's a steal at that price.

Was that where the radio was installed at the factory? I'm just curious, because ours had the grab handle mounted horizontally, and I don't know where to mount a radio. I hate to cut the original interior. Ours is all original, and the only flaw in the whole interior is where the throttle crosses the padded coaming, it touches there.
Ours came with the black "Dune Buggy" wheel. :)

If I remember correctly, My brother's 22 has a stereo mounted high on the floor on the passenger side. (the footrest area of the floor). It's a total pain to get to, but it is out of the way, dry, and not visible... However, he has a remote for it mounted just behind the drivers seat on the side. It's a small round waterproof remote, and that's what he uses to really control the stereo. He's able to get to it from the drivers seat and passengers can get to it as well from the back.

hope that helps:)

Yes the stereo was factory installed at this location. It was a nice clean way to place the stereo. The speakers are mounted underneath the dash on the sidewalls of the cockpit.

The boat is sold. I am excited a great family in the area will enjoy this boat. It was sad to see it go, but there was some relief knowing I will still see it on the water. Thank you for the interest. I will always love those "dam Donzi's".
