A heat gun, or a hair dryer will heat up the glue. They don't put up much of a fight then.

WD 40 and a little bit of elbow grease is great for removing adhesive.

Ronsonol Lighter Fuel will cut most any adhesive and remove the residue.
Cheap and I have yet to see it harm any surface.
Most 7-11 stores

I like

3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner (051135 -08984)

3M makes most of the glues.

Works great. Just be careful on vinyl it will take the color if you're too
aggresive.

Just go to Home Depot and get a can of "Goof Off" (paint department) it is by far the best adhesive remover on the market.

Then using a blow dryer (or heat gun, sparingly) and a new razor scraper take the decals off. Then remove the remaining residue with the Goof Off on a cloth. Then remove the remaining goof off with Windex.

This method has worked for me many times without hurting the gel coat or it's finish. If you need a hand I can help you out in LG at the dust off, I will bring all the stuff, let me know. I will be getting there Thursday around noon at TC.

If you are putting on new decals, use a light spray of windex prior to adhereing the decals and then you can move them into exact position before the windex evaporates, a trick I learned from the signage guys.

If not then just polish and wax afterwards. Just my .02

Thanks to all that posted. Any tips I get will be used since I thought in my younger days I knew everything about everything but since age brings a level of wisdom, I know know I don't know all that much.

Thanks again for the help!
