The mobile mech I had coming to look at outdrive & replace shift cable hurt his back.

How hard is it to change out cable? Do you have to unbolt & separate out drive from boat to change. I have acoouple of drawing showing the side of drive with plate off.
It this something I should probably have a exper. mech do. The only thing I'm worried about is if the last people that removed & re-installed the unit becasue of my skeg repairs could have installed cable wrong & if I follow their led I could put the new one in wrong.

Any pics on replacing shift cable to out drive.

Thanks for the info.

After looking thru most of the specs. I want to have someone experienced work on the outdrive to make sure it's done right.
