Here is what I have now. I would like to get some ideas and/or names of people who specialize in this area.

Dash is 24" wide and 8 1/2" high.

Thanks in advance...

Bud

do a search here for dashes or dash panels :)

Zimm17 has the same layout as you and had a pretty cool dash made up

talk to Nissonger as they can custom make a dash to your liking

Bud & Crew.... I got all of my upgrades from Woody at Nisongers.... there are pics on the www.atlanticcoastdonzi.com site...check under Dr. Dan.

Also under the "Blue Pill" thread here under performance talk.

They will fax you layouts or do a custom one... they are not quick...but they sure do look nice! I am in my 3rd year with mine and no issues with the Dash!

Good Luck!

I had Alex at Ultimate Marine Panels do the one in my Critter, he's a very good guy, and his brother Luis owns Concept Boats, which speaks for itself, Alex does ALL of Concept's dashes in every boat in the lineup. I've sent him several varied customers, with nary a complaint.

Tell him I sent ya....

Yes I did the Nisonger marine custom dash- Cost $450 for the plate, $450 in switches and breakers (those military toggles are $47 each), and close to $1500 in gauges.

Do a search and you'll see some pictures of it.

I still have my original dash fully intact. It's 8 5/16" x 24" and has 1 open spot for a 2" gauge- it had an hour meter, then I had a matching faria depth gauge, but I kept those in my boat.

The dash has 9 breakers, switches, ignition, 12v outlet, kill switch, and even LEDs for the warning system- although you're going to have some wiring fun to get it all in. I also have the key and the senders for oil pressure and water temp. If you're interested, PM me and we can work out a price.

Mine is a red powdercoated replica of the stock 2001 dash with Gaffrig One gauges from Livorsi.

Looks great after 5 years in the boat.

One caveat. My bezels are starting to corrode. Livorsi makes a stainless bezel set that I am getting ready to swap for my old ones. They are a really nice piece.

What about the place that made the dash for your mom's 16? It has to be one of my favorite dashes of all time.

Sorry Zimm. I dodn't see that part!! See what happens when you get old!!!:confused::confused::confused:

Cuda, I don't care for the material that was used! I think in a few years it will start pealing.

What material was it made from?

What material was it made from?

Both of mine (even the $450 Nisonger marine panel) are powercoated aluminum. Pretty tough finish.

I just dropped my dash on ebay today: 140132322087 or just search for donzi dash

The powder coating will last until the surface breached, the tiniest nick from a screw or gauge bracket and the corrosion will over time work its way under the finish. You need to be super careful during installation!
