Around 60mph or maybe 65.
Semi educated guess on my part. Lots of classic 18 owners here that can verify my IQ or lack of it. Anyway, welcome to Donzi boat owners and this board.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking about the same speed myself, 60 or 65 would me fine with me. Can't wait to put the boat in this weekend, and go out for the first time. Need to borrow a gps to check speed . But as I said before 60 or 65 would be fast enough for now.

1st few times out take it easy. Get used to how it handles before going for max speed. It's a magic combination of waves, motor trim, tab settings, experiance, etc. to get the max speed. Playing around with props typically gives you most bang for the buck. 21pitch prop might only get you in the 55-60mph range. Have fun but be carefull till you get lots of hours of driving time.

I have that prop on my 16 with a Cobra. I see 55 at approx 5100 rpm. I am not sure about my gear ratio.
