FINALLY after waiting 3 months for the panel from Nisonger marine the dash is in and op-tested. Tomorrow I'll tidy up the wiring with zip ties and she's finally done for now. I did a 12 hour thrash session on it Sunday and then 3 hours today.

Last night I took out the Clarion head unit (doesn't even play MP3 CDs :bonk: )

I had the 2006 model Alpine headunit from my truck sitting around, so a little dremel work, a seaworthy face plate, and a Terk XM module- and now I have XM radio in the Donzi. I hardly ever play the radio anyway, but now I'm not stuck with FM or having to bring along a CD.

Boat is cleaned up, carpet in, and ready for AOTH tomorrow.

Radios & beer have the same outcome in my boat, once the throttle goes down you might as well forget about both. You'll never hear the radio and if you don't put the beer away you're gonna wear it.

Looks good Zimmy.

autometer carbon fiber gauge pods. I figure I need fuel and boost pressure right in front of me and they'll fit nice in front of the steering wheel. Not perfect, but they'll be really hard to read next to the helm and I don't want to drill huge holes either. The pods will need some screw holes and a 1/2" hole for the boost lines, but that's it. I'll worry about that after I have the balls to take the intake off my PERFECTLY good running engine... :eek!: and try to set up an EFI system.

Painful but you won't regret it in the long run. You really have one awesome looking 22. Strap that whipple on and look out!
