I'm neck deep on the dash install. All is going well, but I'd like some advice on my kill switch.
The factory mercruiser wiring diagrams has the kill switch between the "ignition" circuit breaker and the "battery" terminal on the ignition switch. This circuit has power anytime the battery switch is "on". So going by their wiring, cutting the kill switch kills everything in the boat- just like turning the battery switch off. I guess that sounds like a good idea- the other option is to just cut power to the coil to kill the engine.
