I just polished the aluminum on my trailer and it came up awesome (I haven't done the wheels yet)

you can see yourself in the aluminum :)

used a product called magic blue

you get it at Canadian tire up here
but I think Walmart may also have it

I don't know how well it will show up the picture was taken on a dull day

Looks super, I wonder if it is anything like Shiela Shine a product used by the detailers at the marina.

I am not sure about that

but apparently the trick with polishing the aluminum with a paste type wax is to have paint thinner on the rag

for what ever reason this make the product work better and go on easier :)

You have way to much time on your hands. Why don't you stop by and do my pontoon boat. That should keep you busy for a while .

I have to be honest

there is a local trucking company that has a cleaning service for transports, (the gas tanks, and chrome etc)

they did it :)

but in my defense I paid them

it cost me about $3-400

after it was done we were talking about how good a pontoon would look polished up

Glashole, looks good. Here's a couple of pics of mine. They look good but it takes a little more TLC to keep it looking like that. Dam saltwater.

Jim, I have never seen a trailer so good. Looks great.

I have a new aluminum trailer and I need to take some notes from you. I also have those big Alco wheels on my motorcoach, and it is job to keep them looking good.

At the 2005 Hometown Rally, Catch's trailer looked like polished stainless steel. At the 2006, it looked like it had been chrome dipped!:eek!:

I told Jim, he had ruined me. Since I bought my fishboat new in 1988, I'm sure I never once washed the trailer with soap, only sprayed off the salt water. Last time I had it out, even though it was in fresh water, I found myself having to scrub the trailer down too. All Jim's fault! :(
