Just picked up 2008 F250 Super Duty - KIng Ranck. Looks great inside & out. Runs really quick. Milage sucks for now (just 12.5 mpg) hope it get a lot better. Has anyone seen any of the chip programmers for the 2008's yet

No such thing... :smash: :smash: :smash:
I hope this doesn't affect the cost of external steering for an older Volvo, but IMO, you're WRONG.

The funny tailpipes are for the particle filters on the exhaust. To clean themselves out, they go through a heat up cycle like a self-cleaning oven. The vented tips keep the exhaust pipe from melting.

Got to love the '07 diesel emissions standards... Dodge went from a 5.9 to a 6.7L and still has the same power!

I run run standard diesel. It just has to be the low sulfur. I haven't seen any premuim diesel.

I'd never even heard of it untill about 2 months ago. i was looking into getting one of the new fords but the dealer told me good luck trying to buy fuel.

OOO BTW,, i dont know if the f-250 has that new Hydroformed frame but i do know that the f-350,450 & 550 has it....And i do know that GM (aka chebby) owns the patton on the frame and rumor has it that all the fords with the ''new'' hydroformed frames are are sitting on (AKA chebby) frames...

look under the door for the GM sticker....

patent?????
Only the Ford's front end assembly and structure is hydroformed and welded. They're not sitting on anyone else's frame.

From what i understand when the corvette came out with the hydroformed frame gm put a patton on it... when me and my partner were thinging of getting into building towtrucks we saw a 2008 cab and chassie that was a f450 superduty that had a hydroformed frame and under the dr door on the frame was a gm sticker...so i dont know i can onlt tell what i see, mabe gm is making the front stub for ford to their specs...
