Yes I used them on my Jersey skiff. No need to do a boat for the engine is level running. we have used a lot on race cars and inboards where the motor was tilted and we used a auto intake instead of a inboard type.

Hi listen to the Big Grizzly
I have only seen them used on in boards to help level the carb.
I think it was for idle and flot levle.

Hay Grizzly Did not know you ran a JS I Spent some time in one
Test and tuning for friends that raced it. It was the JS21 a Bender boat!
Now that’s a hand full to Drive!!:eek!:

an I/O boat doesn't need them, an inboard boat does..

Hi all
How about a v drive do you have a v drive?
I think it’s the same angle of the motor to the bottom to level the carb.
But I don't think the v drive has much angle to worry about?
Just my 2c

Performance wise carb spacers seem to get mixed reviews, some say no gain and others say noticeable gains. If you have or can borrow one try it if helps great if not no big deal a little time and gaskets.
