filled the bilge with water and found it!!!! the y pipe for the exhaust is leaking right under the shaft for the drive. if i pull the drive i MAY be able to to smear some 5200 or jb weld on it. will either one of these hold? i think it was mop who suggested squirting expandable foam in it and just use the thru hull. the y pipe is junk any way, will the foam last until fall when i can pull the motor and put in a new y pipe? will it catch on fire? will water sit on top of the foam? any other draw backs to the foam?
