I have VERY quietly considered getting rid of a couple of my cars, and getting into ProSolo competition. One of my neighbor's has a 996 and does this locally..... I don't know if I could afford a flat 6 setup, but a 2000 and up LS6 Camaro SS intrigues the hell out of me...

I see the Performance Boats decal. Is that Pioria (bill dahl)?

If so, it probably is "father's" old boat. I don't remember his real name but
he was real anal about his toys.

Wish I had the room....

Justleft...You did read it right! Can you tell me more "Father"? The second owner (guy I bought it from) didn't know much...
The boat is wicked clean, and well rigged. I heard the orig owner had 3 big Sutphens, but haven't been able to track anything down. Any names or other stories? Thanks.

I spent allot of time at Performance Boats in E. Pioria back in the '90s.

The owner of the shop was Bill Dahl. He had a black 41' Sutphen w/ a pair of
Lambo motors called NAS-T. Sweet ride !!

Your boat was owned by a guy we called father because he always talked to you like you were a little kid.
The boat sat inside most of it's life. This guy was way picky and took it out a few times a year.
He would drive the thing like an old lady. We always gave him crap about it.

We put a couple inch scratch on stbd side right above the rub rail moving it. Father went crazy. I am sure it's fixed now.

Father was an excellent machinist and welder. He was really into hotrods.
The hull was rigged at Performance Boats. Bill was very connected in the go-fast industry and rigged allot of fine boats. Mostly Sutphen and Pantera.

Someone is getting a fine boat !!

Thanks for the info. Real interesting.
That black Lambo-powered Sutphen is one of my all-time favorites.
Scratch has been fixed...I can't even tell where it might have been.
I can tell she was babied and hardly used.
The guy I bought it from said 300 hours, but I'd doubt it even have that many hours...just too clean.
Anyway, thanks for the info. Dave911
