shift interupt mounting

i was looking at pics and was wondering where a good spot is to mount the shift assy that usually goes on the riser . thanks in advance !

I relocated my a-1 shift plate mechanism to the transom area. Used angle alum. and bolted to plate that supports the lifting eye. Have to really strain the eyes to see it.

thanks ... nice looking looking engine !!!!! did you have to shorten the cables or make any adjustments ?

Smoke- - Did not mess w/ cables at all. Cable lenght dictated placement. Heard some guys 5200 a board to side of boat and attach there. If you are running a T-4 ignition, you will have to lenghten the two wires. No big thing.
