With my new throttle hooked up, how do I check the shifter for correct adjustment? I heard if it's not set just right, I'll cook the drive cones. The throttle was easy to check- shifter is new to me. I have the plastic shifter mechanism on the engine with a cable going to the shifter, and another to the drive.
