Day at the beach (springs actually}

We went to Deleon Springs, which is about ten miles north of us. We had ridden past it dozens of time on the bikes, but never stopped in.

Our neighbor, Tarra, who we refer to as Ding Dong, went up also, with her son Gatlin. We ran into her step nephew, Blake, and his girlfriend, Samantha, while we were there.

Just a beautiful place.

These three shots are where the water comes out of the spring boil in the swimming area, and runs out into the spring run that goes to the St John's River.

Believe it or not, Samantha is 18 or 19 years old. I told her she needed to mix in a cheeseburger or three. :)

She told me she had just gained 11 pounds, and was up to 101! :eek!:

You can't tell from the picture, but the tatoo on Blake's chest says "Samantha". A few weeks ago, he was working with me and took his shirt off. I told him it was amazing that he and his girlfriend had the same name. :tongue:

I had everyone on the jobsite calling him Samantha.:biggrin.:

Just before we left, Tarra's man, Phillip, pulled up on his boat.

Today was probably the longest that Debbie got me to sit in the sun for no good reason. I've always said the only way I get a tan is walking from one shady spot to another. I get enough sun without trying to. I got a little too much today, it was probably in the mid 80's.

When I get the intake and carb put on the 22. I should have it done this weekend, if I don't ride to Leesburg for the Bikefest tomorrow. My buddy in Ormond wants me to ride with him, and meet some of our friends from St Pete there.
