Bill, you need to know your RPM's at WOT so you have a starting point to work from. With out this information your wasting your time. If I was forced to make a guess based on past experience I would say your 23" prop is to big. Based on your power plant I would think that you would be between a 19" -22". You realy need to get a tach baseline and try as many props as you can get your hands on, it's always best to test each one on the same day as the others. If you can make it to AOTH next month you could take advantage of the guys from Turbo Prop. From what I understand they will be there with a van full of props.

Sam hit it on the head, the WOT RPM is a must know! 23 may or may not be Ok depends on drive ratio, your engine should be turning up about 46-4800 at WOT.
