A lot of us are familiar with personal automobile perfromance benchmarks, but rarely do you see personal pleasure boat benchmarks.
The following numbers came from an older issue of PowerBoat magazine.
They said that these figures came from a 28' Cat with a 950 HP engine. No raceboat only numbers please.
30 - 50 mph = 3.4 sec.
40 - 60 mph = 3.8 sec.
40 - 70 mph = 5.9 sec.
0 - 5 secs. = 33 mph
0 - 10 secs. = 60 mph
0-15 secs. = 77mph
How does your boat compare????
