The recent cold snap has been good for the old goat. Quite unstable on the pavement. A blast to drive!

I bet a lot of members here have nice hot-rods. I had a '65 GTO years ago....389....four-on-the-floor! Here's my '82 Mustang GT which got a historical vehicle plate this year :yippie: cost $30 and expires in 2017!

Nice goat too, Fuelpowered. A cop tried to impound my car a couple years ago at the Woodward "Dream Cruise". (Nightmare traffic jam!) He said the tires were illegal. I showed him the dot number and after he checked with his superiors he knew he couldn't touch the car. He gave me a drag racing tic; what a dip sh*t. I got it reduced to careless driving (I squealed the tires). There's also a story about my '65 goat: I was tooling down the freeway about 80 mph back in 1971 or so, which would make me 17 years old, when the engine decided to throw a rod! Now when the motor seizes in a manual trans car the drive train locks up! So, all of a sudden ka-baaam! and my car's sliding down the road in a cloud of tire smoke, steam, and oil! I jammed in the clutch and got it on the shoulder. I was a broke teenager with no knowledge how to fix these things so I took the Sun tach off the steering column and hitchhiked home (people hitchhiked back then) and never looked back. Back then this was a $500 ride in running condition. I'd sure like to have it back now. Would like to see other members rods posted here.:convertib:
