I have decided to take the easy way out. I never seem to be able to devote enough time to make a big dent, so I have decided to make a bunch of small ones. I have signed with Hot Boat magazine to do a column called 'Tales from Thunderboat Row'. First one is in the July issue. You can clip them out and make your own frickin' book. I am writing about the early days of racing and glass boat building. First column is a hoot!

I am on it like white on rice, can't wait. T%hat is one of the reasons I go to the boat show. I remember listening to you for hours at the Sarasota event. The guys today are wimps compared to what you guys went through. I vividly remember the old Hennessey GPs at Point Pleasant NJ, never missed one!

I haven't had a subscription to Hotboat in years. I got tired reading about West Coast manufacturers, but this will bring me back.

Looking forward to reading your column Brownie.

Will be looking forward to your stories:yes: So I guess it would be fitting then to use the front cover of the Hotboat 1966 summer editon for your first column:wink:

Congratualtions Alan, no one in boating is more deserving of recognition than you, and no one knows more about the subject than you either. Could not ask for a better combo. congrats, well deserved.
