Ice is something you put in a drink on a hot day.....isn't it?

What's this about ice on a lake?
There never is any ice on my lakes!!

Bob,
I spoke to Jason at Performance Marine in Lake George last Friday and he said that there was still ice on the lake in Bolton Landing. In fact, he said that last weekend, they were still ice fishing on the lake.:(

At least our Lakes are clear enough to swim in, and the trees that were there in the fall are usually there in the spring.... :D

Nothing prettier than a shot of a Southern Donzi tearing up a glorified mudpuddle in the middle of February.

On the other hand....
The Lake George here in Florida has never had ice, except for what people spill out of there drinks!

And it has a beautiful swimming hole, called Silver Glen Springs.

Bob, still saw ice on the southern end as of yesterday 4/1 on my way skiing. Haven't been up to our camp at the northern end in a month though. Getting anxious eh????

Bob,
See you at the Dust Off. Ice should be gone by then. Most people get spring fever but Bob has got the "Yellow Fever". And it's a beautiful boat:yes:

Was up by the Lake yesterday. Southern end is still solid ice. Northern end is still iced in but breaking up. Didn't get to Bolton though so don't know about the middle. Predicting 6-10 inches of snow tonight. This winter just doesn't want to end.

Here is a couple days ago, lots of ice. Still cold as well. We need some 55 degree rain.

What a bummer! Pismo, where are you on the lake, anywhere near Cleverdale or Assembly Point? I assumed most of the ice was gone now. :frown:
