Window scraper, and WD 40.

You can also use a buffer with like rubbing compound, it will burn them off and clean the area in one shot.

A hair dryer makes them easy to take off too.

Just replaced the decals on my drives. I used a razor blade to pull the layer of clear off and then scrubed the decaL with "goo-gone" and it came right off....

3M woodgrain and stripe remover. This stuff works!

Last year I pulled all the old tape stripes of my old 32 Carver. I had some as much as 6" wide - just heat and a plastic scraper wasn't doing it. I got some of this, and it helped dramatically. It will cause the vinyl to break free of the glue, so you can peel it off. Then go back over it with an adheasive remover to remove the sticky stuff.

If you've got a lot of decals or striping to take off, you want this stuff.
