My dog, daughter and me love to go out on the marsh at low tides. We find all sorts of stuff. Tennis balls, frisbees, driftwood, you name it, we find it. A recent high tide, wind event cleared some old reed piles and as we walked past, something caught my eye.
I pulled this out of the mud, water and swamp yuck. Once I cleaned it off a bit, I could swear I found a hatch for a 16' or 18'. Just a little bit of one edge with the part of the hinge was sticking out as we walked by.
Looks like it was white with a dark blue or black stripe.
