Did anyone see these?
Let's see........
$35K minimum.....another $30K to rebuild probably.
You'd have to really want these engines.......

Wonder why they only got light hours before being pulled? So cool tho.

Some of the raceboats I'd see in the at the Point Pleasant Beach NJ races (80's) had Lambo motors. They have one of the most wicked screams when they were running. No confusing them with American big blocks, that's for sure. You'll see UIM teams running them to this day. Check out youtube, can probably find a Lambo motored buzzi cat or 2 with some good audio. They shriek

Just found a vid on youtube. The spirit of norway has lambo motors: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8nR638Phww

luckily no music overdub, like you see on a lot of boat vids, but the guys with the camera sound like cackling hillbillies.....ignore them and listen to the boats.

Cool video.

"Wooooo Who Who Who Who" must be "listen to those Lamborghini motors run" in Slovenia.

I wonder what a re-build on the Lambo motors would run and who would do it?

That's a good story Randy.
But Ferrari's leak anyway.......sorry guys but it's true!
From some owner's reports I read a few years ago......
"I wonder where it's going to leak today?"

Not only do exotic Italian cars grenade themselves, but you get to pay to help the process along.

i used to poker run with a guy the had a 41' w/ twin lambos. NAS-T

Those Stelling headers are worth over $10K a side.
A dist cap was something like $300 !!

Ok. Who has tuned a twin a weber setup ? Now you have 6 per motor !!!
How about a valve lash adjustment ? You have to measure the gaps
on all valves, then pull cams, then change out these little cups on the
valve stems. Re-assemble. Then re-measure (turning the motor over several times) and repeat. There are 8 cams and 96 valves in total. :bonk:

Just a tune up is a winter project !! And to pay someone to do it $$$$$$$$$

Oh also they have alloy blocks so ya better have closed circuit cooling.

But the sound was better then allot of the sex I've had !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The power was awsome. Thanks Bill !!!
