I've found mention of this on other threads but no real info. Can anyone shed some light on this event? Date, location, boats that would be welcomed? Thanks. (20 Cig Run)

Thanks, Byron. I saw your post in there. I loved this quote: "Tell the Donzi guys, they were a lot of fun last year". I'll most likely be there.:)

We ran from Cincinnati down the Ohio river 75 miles to Belterra Casino. We had excellent weather and a great group of people!

True 4' barge wakes were a little different :eek!: , but once you got the hang of them they were fun up to a point :bonk:. The run back on Sunday was one of the best I have eve experienced. Flat out from the start for about two miles or so..............sweet.

I've never seen a 20' Cigarette. What is their actual length? How do they compare to Classics; That is are they closer to the 18 or the 22?

Little wider that either Classic; I'd say a 'tweener overall.....

Hey Carl C,
I looked into one. A few guys who own them say there are heavier and cut through the waves better. This one guy swore by his compared to a Donzi. I don't know anything....I am just repeating what I heard. There was one here in CT for sale without a motor. It went on Ebay for 6k.

Yessir. Just got off the horn with Todd & he mentioned you were coming up. Running a base big block & laughing with him that we'll at least be seeing a lot of your transom!

Look forward to seeing your rig....have a safe trip up.

Matt--don't think we got a chance to meet at the run. Great looking boat....have never seen one in that color scheme. Are you taking it up to Torch Lake in Aug?

There are a bunch of pictures of the run posted at offshoreonly under the Cigarette forum...

ya, sorry i didnt get to talk to ya, i will not be able to do torch lake in aug. ill be back at work then, thanks for the complimants on the boat, we try hard to keep it in good shape, i saw the pics of it on OSO, im on there under matt81, hope you all had a good time that came, my dad ran that boat the first year they did that run, but that was when we started have a fuel delivery problem, ended up being a bad fuel line, i was so happy that it ran the way it did saturday and i didnt have any problems, we spent all last summer working on it, but it seems to be all fixed now
