Lenny;

I don't have any decent shots of the engine 'in the boat' unfortunately. I didn't 'intend' to be so silly with the engine choice...I race off-road 4x4 as a hobby and 'retired' my '72 Bronco after it (and I) sustained a wee bit too much carnage in a race. The Donzi had been patiently waiting for several years for me to build a sane 302 to replace the orginal HM engine that blew up..but the temptation to simply snatch the solid-lifter race engine out of the busted truck and stick it in the Donzi proved too great. ;-)

It's quite the handfull at 70 mph and I have yet to get it anywhere near the 7500 RPM engine redline...may never do so in fact.

Welcome to this place Bill :) I think we have seen about 79-80 out of Jamie Root's 16 in his Alpha SS equipped 350. The rest here are pretty much obscene in speeds and endeavours. Mostly the Classics 16,18,22 and the ZR boats. Anyways, hope you come on board and see some of the machinery and the stuff we all work on.

Thanx, Lenny
