I`m still trying to decide on a spare prop....my 22 zx currently has a 24 4 blade bravo, but i feel i can get a little more out of it. Just dont want to spend 4-5 hundred bucks to find out it didnt do much. The boat currently runs 62 @4800 wot. Would a 24 3 blade (maybe a cleaver) do the trick,or would it spin a 25? I know there is a fine line here with what a prop will do,but i feel the boat should do 65 with a different prop. I was hoping to find a good used one for a spare,so any thoughts from you`s guys would be greatly appreciated!

You should also try a 24 3 blade to try to get a few more RPM's, a 3 blade should also give you a little more bow lift.

That hull likes a 4 blade. A three blade could work but your hole shot which is bad anyway will suffer.

Randy knows a heck of a lot more about different hulls, change my answer to a 23" 4 blade that should get you to about 5000. I think a 25 will kill your hole shot and scrub some speed.

I think i`m starting to get a grasp on what i need. A friend of mine is running a 24 3 blade cleaver prop on his baja. Different hull for sure...his hole shot is great, but hopefully i can try it this summer. I am going to keep my eye open for a 23 4 blade,as i dont want to make my hole shot any worse. Thanks guys!
