Does anyone have any information on the correct manifolds and risers for '68 classic 18 2+3 v-drive 427FE? What a good price may be for manifolds and risers?

I would be happy to post pics if I had the boat. I just bought the boat complete, less manifolds and risers. I have not picked the boat up yet (a couple of weeks).

Try www.glenwoodmarine.com
429-460 manifolds will not fit. The bolt holes are rotated 90 degrees.

Actually John Sabas has a complete one. The exhaust manifolds are not available any more. After market is the only option.

I have found a set of H&M manifolds and risers that fit a 427 FE. My dilima is I don't know if they are correct for the boat, '68 classic 18 2+3 v-drive. I also need to know if the price is in the ball park.

Id pay 500.00 for a set they arent easy to find.

That is what I was thinking. The asking price for the set is $750.00 and I still do not know if they are correct for the boat. Anyone with pic's or specs?

If you are restoring or keeping original I would suck it up and buy them. They
do kill alot of horse power though.

I do plan on restoring. Can you tell me where to find if these are correct manifolds and risers for the boat?

Thats a hard question the HM # for the all 390s 427s should be C7HM and a
number but they made them from probably1964 through 1967 so it could be
C4 HM or C5 HM etc. etc the only difference will be they made many differnt
risers some tall some short some angled out etc but you can make all of them work. by re drilling the transom holes etc.

Thanks for the info. That's what I need.

Hey, I've got a 1969 Hornet with 427FE. The original "HMM" manifolds (on my boat) are essentially identical to those sold by Glenwood Marine at accept they won't have the cast in "HMM" initials. They also sell a few different types of risers depending on your rise requirements. Thanks for all the info. I did check out the Glenwood cataloque. Looks like they have exactly what I will need. Looks like the Cobra Kits are getting all the 427 sideoilers. The Donzi's with the FE's seem to be harder and harder to find. I would love to see some pictures of your Hornet, especially of the engine bay. Thanks again.
