My brother recently received a motor vehicle violation from the City of Pinetop Lakeside, Arizona. If you look at the web link above you will see a fee structure that appears to be a little oportunistic. Am I wrong in my assessment? I have not received a ticket in a long time, but this place looks like a speedtrap town.

There is a town east of Gainesville, Fl called Waldo. One guy was so mad, he rented a billboard warning that it's a speed trap, as you are coming from the north on Hwy 301. AAA even put out a warning to their members about it. They actually annexed a few hundred yards on Hwy 301, just to write tickets.

I just remembered a little tib bit from all my cross-country trips. When ever you see a county to city maintanance sign in "Inbred, USA" you do under the speed limit. Play banjo from "Deliverance" now.....

Evidentally driving on the sidewalk (28-904A DRIVING ON SIDEWALK $161.00* ) & not stopping for the police (28-1595A FAIL TO STOP FOR POLICE $211.00) are real issues there as well with sizeable fines.. lol.. :jestera: Jamie
