View Full Version : Exhaust flap alternative? Nova 24

I'm in the process of painting the Nova 24 with twin Fords that I have owned for awhile . It is mostly stripped now (we're reinforcing the foredeck, then we'll be ready to remove the windshield, and prep), and I am wondering about the exhaust outlets.

Is there an alternative to the Chrome bell covered with the black flap? I would like to have the chrome exhaust tips by themselves (why re-chrome all 4 if I'm just going to cover them up!), but don't want to risk water incursion.

Ideas?

Thanks, Craig

Nova 24, The new tail pipes have internal flappers. Look @ Offshore Only or Speedwake, I believe there are some for sale in the classified sections of these sites.

Check post #8 in this topic (http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?t=48163). I think you'll find what you're looking for.
