I am looking to install a selectable exhaust system on my '87 Z-21 with a small block GM and standard risers. It currently has thru the transom exhaust that exit above the swim platform.
I am looking at either retain the thru the transom and utilizing a "Y" pipe for thru the prop or moving the un restricted to lower side exhaust (and patching the factory holes) and selectable for thru the prop.
We have been using the boat mostly for my son skiing and wake boarding....The exhaust gets in the way and is a "little" hot. I do not want to change boats....
Anyone who has done a "Selectable" on a Z-21 and has some input would be appreciated...
