'70 Electrical Help

I have a 1970 16' Classic (Holman Moody conversion, Volvo I\O) that I've let go way too long without cleaning up the electrical on (still has the original wiring). It stilll runs well, but it's always an adventure if it's going to start when I bring people out (or keep runnning).

I want to redo the wiring and also get a new guage cluster. What do all of you people, that know much more than me, think this should cost at a shop? And also any guage recommendations would be very welcome. I'd like to keep it somewhat original looking... Thanks for any advice

Teleflex HD Gauges look like this:
I did mine last September, re-wired everything too. Too bad I don't have a picture from underneath - it used to look like a rat's nest, now it looks like an operating room.
