I recently moved into a different house than my old one with the 3 car gargage. The new garage was only big enough for 1 Classic 18 and mayby a motorcycle. So I finally did what I had always wanted to do; and that was to build a NICE boat house.
I finished it last night. The only thing that I changed in my design was that after I etched the concrete floors I decided not to epoxy paint the floor.
I have enough shop lights to light up the place like a federal prison. I put FRP fiberglass panels on all the lower drywall so that it can be a WET shop when needed. The stereo system is in, the beverage cooler is ready for the neighbors and the artwork is hung. Here are some pictures of the finished result.

DON , looks great! you probably spend more time in there then in your house! IM about to break ground on a 3 car garage myself, so its good to get some ideas. For the floor, stained concrete would look good. Anyway great job!

Don; Very nice. Had to fight the urge for nearly 5 seconds to do something to my garage. I'll just look at yours and pretend mine looks the same.
Electric baseboard heat?? No A/C?? They do make really nice ductless systems for your scorchingly hot summers......Ed

Nice touch with the box of Kleenex on the workbench. That way, you have something to give your friends and neighbors as they weep while admiring your toybox and its toys!!!!!!!!!:toiletpap
Nice job, Don!!

The garage has both forced gas heat and AC.
The only thing I did not put in was running water.
I will get back to putting the new exhaust system on the engine today so as soon as this snow melts I can get back to burning some petrol.

Thanks,

Don

Must be nice to start from a clean sheet, huh? Looks great. STill attached to the house, by the looks of it. Is there room for a 22' if you ever get the urge?

No room for a 22', so I am going to stay a slot car boat guy till the end.

The 90 props are in the the downstairs basement safe. With the all new record price for Nickel at $16.11 per pound; stainless props have a new found value (Investment Vehicles). LOL
