anyone know what a volvo prop 853788 14x22 ss is and what it will fit ?

It is a right hand rotation Ultra.
Fits 200, 250 if you drill the shaft for the bolt through the cone,or 270,280,290.

Post a pic. I am thinking you have an Ultra...

Mine is on the boat, and I do not want to take it off (remove spinner) to see the number.

Fits all the old if it is, just have to tap the center and remove a couple simple things.

If an ULTRA and 22" pitch, you will be able to spin it to the moon if you have any alive horsepower. What motor is spinning it?

Don't be surprised to see 5600-5800 rpms if it is an alive 350. :eek:

You need a LOT of pitch with the Ultras. they slip like mad.

Investigate a SOLAS product from Big Grizzly here in the way of about 21" if your engine is fresh and alive.

Yes it looks just like the one in the pics and has the same nose cone.
The shaft dia seams to be little bigger than my other props?
The motor is a 350 mostly stock.
How much more slip would there be the stock 14x21 alum prop?

One more question the out drive is a 275 and the boat is in storage for the winter
Will the prop clear the Exhaust Outlet on the lower unit?

It's not likely...:(

Here's one way (http://www.donzi.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2356) to make it work if you have thru-hull exhaust.
