Saw them in 1980 at a small venue here in Victoria. I was 19 or something. It was soooooo loud that the bass would push your stomach in as if it were a concusion bomb. Made you sick after a while.

Left a lasting impression though, obviously. :)

Saw there show here in 1984 in Fort Wayne. I always liked the band with Roth better than Sammy. Sammy wasn't bad, I just wasn't a big fan of his. I wonder how long this tour will last before the Van Halen Brothers get sick of Diamond Dave's antics:confused:

Fishin' Sucks;

My guess is they probably already are..

The money they'll get for this Reunion Tour will do wonders for their tolerance levels.

I've heard that Eddie's as nuts as Dave these days..

Notice Michael Anthony's not on board,and Eddie's son is playing bass.

Nothin' against Wolfgang, but if your gonna bill this as a big get-together, have THE ORIGINAL BAND on board..
Have them shake hands, make a few mil and be done with it..

I give it 8 shows before everything implodes.

That is...if it even gets to the 1st one.

I am with ya MB, if it's a reunion tour then reunite the members. It just won't look right if Wolfie plays the Booze Bass, that's Michael's.

Hey WingWing, I am guessing that next to the concert t-shirt sales tables there may be some vendors selling retirement funds and burial plots. pretty sad when you think about it, feels just like yesterday i was burning some doobage before a show and doin' some underage drinkin' to boot.
