First of all, thanks again MP for all the help in figuring out what we needed for the Minx. The trailer you guys set up needed very little attention. It adds alot of class to an already classic (Minx). My dad & I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. Dad was pleasantly surpised by the alluminum wheels I had installed. Thanks again Scott for your help. Here are a few pics:

Brad, it's a 1987, and is without a doubt the nicest Minx I've seen. The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree either. Catch Sr is just as bad as Catch 22 as far as keeping everything absolutely immaculate. Just an incredibly nice boat.

Look how nice the hatch fits, with the same gap all the way around, and absolutely flush with the deck. The original engine looks like brand new too.

Btw, Catch Jr's name is now officially "Red". That's all his dad calls him. :)

Is that the same Minx LE that I dragged down from New Hampshire for Buizilla a few years ago?

Small world. When I got to the barn that the Minx was stored in, they had it way up in the rafters of an old hay loft. There was no floor up there, just 2x8 planks across the rafters and a 20' drop to the floor! It was quite a project getting it out of there.

I've got a whole bunch of pics from when I first picked it up on my other PC

That was an interesting trip down south :eek!: I siezed a front hub on my F-350 at 80 and spent the next two days at some back woods garage in N. Carolina. They got me for 1200 bucks before I hit the road :bonk:

She's a real sweet boat.

Cuda we don't think of you as chopped liver, Gina & I think of you more like tender vittles.   . Gina wants to know whats up with that s..t around your lips?:biggrin.: :biggrin.: Seriously thanks for coming over and shooting the bull. Gina still can't believe you didn't go for a ride with us. She said, that we could have used a rev limiter.

Tell Gina I grew that chit just because she likes is so much. I would have gone with you, but I had to call that guy about the money they owe me, so I could make it to their office if they met my terms. Besides, it was below 80 degrees.:eek!:

That's a beautiful boat. Looks like a new boat!
Here's an ad I have framed in my office. It was an advertisement from Bear Point Marina in Gulf Shores, AL, where I used to spend a lot of wknds. The ad is from 1985.
Looks like your boat.

Catch's boat was sold new on Lake Winni, and lived there all it's life, until I had Magoo bring it here 3 years ago. I was the third owner, Catch is the 4th.

I still think the Minx is the best looking model of the classic types, and this boat is the best of the Minxs.
