I've been thinking of trying one. I remember seeing a post by Roadtrip SE mentioning he tried one, but didn't go into any details about it.
Can anyone shed some light on if it changes the characteristics of the boat. :boggled:

It will list (lean) a good amount to the starbord (drivers) side.
Also, if your drive has had a right hand prop on it for more than a couple hours of run time.......it might not be a good idea to change it to a left hanf now. The gears have developed a wear pattern as a right hand drive now.

eroad trip tried it because that was the only pitch that size he had at the time, just for getting data. there was a post about left being faster than right, but that is BS unless the hull pick up is on the wrong side.

The boat is setup for RH of course, driver on right, battery on right. Might lean some with a LH prop.

Last I heard the black 06' 525 boat was running a LH prop. I believe Todd told me this.

I would expect starboard lean with a LH. I was more interested if the handling traits changed at all. I heard one guy claim his boats porpoise reduced when running LH. This was not on a Donzi though.

RT, a P5 is alot of prop for a 22C. I'd expect a wicked lean regardless of the rotation. :eek!:

In some circles it is called a "Heffer Lifter"
