Water?? You think we actually put our boats in the water? Are you nuts?? We tow them to large parking lots (always near a carwash so we can clean them up from the rigors of the trip) and hang out swapping lies abut how fast they are in 10' seas...
ou oh, I got to go, my Mommy's calling me :) :) :)Kinda like Harley owners at Sturgis or Daytona.

Speaking of Harleys, it reminds me of the HD T shirt that says "If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand"!

Yeah.....................we're pretty much panzies around here. I sure wish somebody would join the board who could show us how it's done though! Golly - gee - whiz .........I can't wait.

My 22c will do 70mph and that's just on the trailer.
It would go faster but I would have to upgrade my tow vehicle.

I have towed it next to big lakes and over bridges with huge waves
below. Neither seem to effect the boats handling.

Usually ride my HD to decompress, last thing I would want to do is ride it to a parking lot to shoot the breeze.
MP rode my sportster to work this morning.

This Is A Very Simple Question. I'm Not Trying To Be A Prick, But I Would Like Some Solid Answers If Anybody Has Any About A 29 Ft Center Console Donzi On How The Ride In 6 Ft Swells With 1-2 Ft Of Wind Chop. How Fast Can You Comfortable Go. I'm Ready To Drive From California To N.carolina To Pick Up A 29zfc But If They Can't Handle Much More Than 5ft Seas At 35mph Then I Might As Well Stick With My 22ft Cat. Just Trying To Get Some Tech Info Before A Lay Down $125,000 You Know What I'm Mean.?

3 to 5ft seas :eek!: Thats big water for a 35 ft boat, The 29ZFC I have sold many of them in NJ and we have big water on the Atlantic Ocean, I have not heard any bad feedback and I have been out on a 29 ZFC Daytona many times and loved the boat and this is coming from a guy who runs a 38ZR at 90 MPH. I always get the 29s with 250 Verados it gives them one heck of a kick running mid 60s but 3 to 5ft Seas usally has 6 to 10ft holes behind them unless your talking chop and that boat will run over 3ft chop no problem.

Thanks For The Info! The Boat I'm Looking To Buy Has 225 Verados Is There That Much Difference Between 225 To The 250's.

Scott; the 225 Verados will move you about 61 mph Top Speed, I sold a few with 225s not much different mid range or take off.

thanks for the info. i'm really trying to find info on how they ride compared to cats. my buddies 23ft sea fox is a wet and pounding ride in 3-5 ft seas at 25mph is the 29zfc going be extremely better ride than his or about the same?

Scott, Frank (Shanghied Again) sells both Sea-Fox and Donzi's. He'll be able to give a complete answer, but in talking to him about a 23 Sea-Fox or a 23 ZF for use in the Gulf of Mexico, it was my understanding that the Donzi's ride was far superior.
