Moved from Classifieds original options X-18 question

Can any of you fine chaps tell me if Donzi ever installed as an option a through deck Compass or Cleats? Mine has four cleats and the compass and I am about to start restoration and would like to leave hm or seal hm up. Thanks Broozer

Hi ive owned many strange donzis and a lot of dealers would install different items on the boats at their dealership...ive had X-18 boats with compasses and cleats installed on them....i had one that a dealer put a sun cushion on the engine hatch....

1971 is too early for original pop-up cleats. Maybe the compass was an option. Check out the 70's price lists on this site. Archives I believe.

Broozer, the Compass wouldn't surprize me, and stand-up traditional cleats would not either.

Post a pic of your cleats and we can tell you if we have seen these before on the general era. Same goes for the Compass.

Also, this should be the in the DONZI Performance Talk area, not here, as no one will see it... :(
