Been there done that in the old house. Now we have two dish washers and I can use the down stairs one as long as I clean it right away. BTW ASAP doesn't work any more. Now that I am retired, diner will be ready when she gets home or "your in trouble mister". Discretion is the better point of valor. I have a set of drawers like that.....I use them to put dirty dishes in on a VERY regular, consistant basis.
Just ask the strawberry blond who runs the house.

Upon further review, one pulley had to make a return trip to the blasting cabinet, the other was ready for primer.
