Thanks for lunch Dan.

Here is a shot I took coming back home, it's hard to hold the camera and drive at these speeds. Not too bad for a King Cobra and full tank of gas!

Here is Dan driving.

Now that's cool - 4500 or so and running 78 or 9 mph. You got that Classic set up pretty nice Barry.

Lunch is on me anytime I get to drive:yes:

Weather today was about 75 F and 50% RH, not too bad for Dec 19, lol. Makes up for all the humidity we get in the summer. I wasn't there when Barry pulled up in YIP, but it was fun watching everyone jump when he fired her up and we headed out. Nothing like a high speed run after lunch to put a smile on your face the rest of the day. Whould have been even better had I remembered to put on the vest or the kill switch:bonk: One of the few times I forget and I'm on camera:boggled:

Mines in the shop until March, but after riding in Barry's I'd better call the engine guy and tell him to "fix it faster" as they say.

Thanks Barry!

Dan

Damn you two..... Let's see, the last time I walked past my Donzi, I saw:

4 summer wheels/tires from my SS laying underneath,
the picnic table/4 chairs tucked in,
cushions from both boats sitting on top,
cushions from the lawn chairs, too

and a boat under there somewhere......... :( :( :(

damn winter :bonk:

GNR, This is your personal invitation to have lunch with Dan and I. The local weatherman just said our "official" high yesterday was 79 degrees.

Dan came to the waterfront restaurant,"The Oar House" in his long sleeve dress shirt, and I made him remove his necktie, I didn't want it to beat him to death, and it was hot sitting at the outside tables having lunch.

I don't think Dan wanted to go back to work!

I would think so much ice on the top of that boat would capsize it!

On rare days when we get a freeze, and people forget to turn off their lawn sprinklers, we get to see shrubs and cars in drive ways with icicles, but not like that!

Looks like the sailboat next to it tried to just exactly that - capsize. I'm guessing it was the victim of a burst main water line from shore. Other boats in the harbor don't have the same issue as those two.
Still, put on your ice skates, Hans Brinker, and enjoy the foredeck while you can.
