Night vision fun!

You guys that have night vision scopes need to try a something new, look up at the sky on a clear dark night. Find an area that looks real black with what looks like it has no stars then look at it through the scope. You can see hundreds maybe more stars then without the scope, it is really a fun experiment.

I noticed that one night while coyote hunting last year, cool as hell how much more you can see up there.

i am into amature astronomy one of my many hobbies and we go out with the big telescopes and look at the stars all night. It is amazing what you can see.

I wonder how much more is seen either way, light "vs" optical magnification. I know one thing be careful not to look at a bright star, leaves you light blind for several minutes.
