I was just looking at the CMI headers online and was just wondering if the $6,500.00 price was a misprint or real? Just having sticker shock as that costs more than an engine.

What are you putting them on? What kind of power/ weight reduction are you looking at?

Are there any other exhaust systems out there that are a little more cost effective?

Also remember that anything that is bolted to the exhaust
manifolds will have to be remounted as the headers don't
have any brackets.

Yea they are pricey but it is quite a trick to bend a tube within a tube.

Once heard a story about a custom set for a lambo V-12 costin $20K !

Check these out. You WILL find deals on these through Ebay and such from time to time. Certainly NOT for $7K tho.

Just so you know neither of thoes adds have tail pipes and I don't think they have the cool collars. that is ab extra price I know that Merc didn't want to pay for the cool collars on their oem sets. Cool coller is a 1inch spqcebetween the head and the water passage it is supose to stop cracking in this area. althoe my Corsican doesn't have them and no problems since 1996.when installed.
