Cuda, its a 2004 w/ 225 saltwater series and the best part is it is loaded with electronics and with only 100 total hours and a pair of 4 year warrenties, I think its going to be a busy summer.

The only problem I see is beating my brother to Lighthouse Point. He lives about 5 minutes away and I'm an hour.:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Neat rig!!
Jason got a 23 ZF from Key Largo Boating Center last Jan.(Remember Buzilla??)
We outfitted it with twin 150 Optimax's.

2 Questions.
1.) Why doesn't Fish Boy join in on the board here anymore? I always enjoyed reading his stuff.
2.) Jason, his lady and I are gonna be in the Marathon area for our annual week-off the 1st week of Jan.
We'll be towing the boat down,and may try the Tortugas,weather permitting while we're there.
We've never done that run..Can you stop off at the Marqueses(sp?) en route?
How far is it there?/Length of time it takes for the trip?
I've heard there are no facilites onshore there? Soo, do we pack everything?
Maybe Budmann,Fish, Buz, Poodle or any or all might want to join and show us the ropes? I'll bet that new Donzi they have would be purrrfect for a run like that.

It is 2 hours from Key West, exactly, at 40 MPH. GPS is a MUST as you see NOTHING for about one hour and you are hitting a very small Island. The Tortugas have NOTHING other than 6 porta-potties (composting toilets). Nothing. You bring the fun. You will also have to anchor offshore (about 20') and wade in as there are no docking facilities even tho they say there are. Bring a mask and snorkel and favorite bevy's. Very cool place, the walk around the Fort is a MUST. Once you have done this once, you probably will never need to do it again. Very remote area. Poodle probably has the file on his handheld and can download it for you. It is about a 280 degree from Key West once you get out of the Bay and 2 small Keys and shallows. The approach to Tortugas is also a bit tricky, but no problem. About 12' of water.

Thanks, you are always such a great source of the "right stuff." Pics are neat..Visibility must be really good..Is it clearer than the reefs off the Atlantic side of the Keys? Thats the clearest water I've seen.
