I found some pictures of my first (1976 X18) DONZI. When I first looked at it, it had a Volvo E-drive. The guy sold the drive to a friend (Chicago area, 1983), put on the Volvo 270, and lowered his price by $1,500. That's why it has the transom mounted water pick up (?).

And yes, I did pull it all over creation with the 1975 Vette. Hey, I was single and 27.

Anyway, before the internet, and instantaneous access to information, I had trouble selling the boat, called Donzi and they gave me the name of a Donzi dealer (Cataldo's; don't EVEN get me started) in Guilford, NH. I sent them pictures, they agreed to broker it, and did so.

I wondered if anyone ever remembers seeing the boat around the area?

This boat must not have ended up in New Hampshire. I'm surprised no one has seen it.
