I don't know Ford engines at all, but there is a 1990 18 2+3 (white/orange) listed on eBay right now stating it has a Ford 460 in it. I didn't think DONZI every put that big of an engine (for an I/O) into an 18. Half covered sticker on air filter says 460, but. . .

And, for the Dumbass of the Week award we have only one nomination, but it's a good one (see my tag line). :bonk: It is for Bill (aka Just Say N2O)!

Congratulations Bill for getting so caught up in the details, you entirely missed the obvious! Display your trophy proudly.

Actually, I saw the 2+3 and assumed it was an 18. You don't hear of 22s being referred to that way very often. Now that I think about it, why do they refer to 18s that way? Isn't it the only way they were offered? Was it to distiguish them way-back-when from the original 16 1+3 seating?

Don't feel too bad I did see a 460 and a cbra drive in an 18 classic, big bmp on his hatch. Ne said it ran real well but sat real low in the stern.

Spitfire ignition, no distributor. Coil packs only. I have just replaced my OMC King Cobra ignition(has distributor) with new MSD system. Performance greatly improved, Test info, photos and videos coming soon.
