A friend of mine from the Akron area had a terrible accident while leaving Alum Creek a couple weeks ago. Anyone reading this from the Columbus area may have heard about this. Apparently,he came to an intersection that is known to be a problem area, and someone else had broke down, and may have obstructed his view of the stop sign. He missed the stop sign, and hit a couple in a mini-van killing the woman passanger. He was pulling a 38' Cig arette,so you can imagine how hard it would be to stop in a hurry. He had the boat refitted this past spring with twin 600 blower motors, and it ran 85. He is an avid boater, and a great guy to be around. A terrible...terrible accident. My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved.
