A good story, but not authored by George Carlin.

exactly...

"PARADOX OF OUR TIME"
One of the more embarrassing items making the internet/e-mail rounds is a sappy load of **** called "The Paradox of Our Time." The main problem I have with it is that as true as some of the expressed sentiments may be, who really gives a ****? Certainly not me.

:boggled: I posted this for the older generation of people who could relate to it and can appeciate certain values in life. No need to reply if you don't understand what I am talking bout.

What this is, is something far nastier than a mis-applied quote.

The end of the e-mail tells you the whole story --- "send this to 8 people."

What it is is a chain mailing, used to collect valid e-mail addresses.

people get these and are asked to forward them This adds the e-mail address of the recipient in the big list of adresses. Only one address in that big collected list matters, and that is the address of the spammer collecting addresses. he just sits and waits for all the suckers to pass this around. And then in a few months you are going to get hit with so much spam it can shut down your mailbox. And it will shut down the mailbox of all those 8 people you sent it to.

Regardless of who wrote it or why its going around, I have to agree with every word just because it does sounds all so true!
It makes you stop and give thought to what your real priorities should be in life, and by next week i'm sure i'll screw it up again!
 :smash:

.... And once again So F@#king what has graced us with his vast intellect.
I don't think you need to be... ummm, more experienced to appreciate the moral of the story. As much as we all love our conveniences, I think it takes away from our appreciation of life. I'm pretty happy with what I have, but there are times I watch the news, get fed up and just want to sell it all and move to an island on Panage (Big lake by my place) All except the Donzi of course, there are some headaches you just don't get rid of. :smash:
