23 Pitch Hydromotive Quad IV O/T. this is a 4 blade hybrid of the Quad IV... it adds soem rake and cup to increase bow lift. 14 3/4 inches in diameter, small exhaust hub, has blockoff ring installed... rubber hub... fits alpha & Bravo (except XR). Propeller is in as new condition, unharmed with very little time on it...
$450 + shipping (Price from Throttle-Up is 579 + about 23 bucks to ship)

Rootsy (or anyone else with good input) - you tempt me. Do you think 23" would match up well with my 22C w/502 MAG? I currently run a 25" 3 blade Turbo or Mirage Plus. Is 23" to small or would I really need a 24"?

Reddog, I'm running a 23P Hydromotive on our 22 ' It's a 454MPI 385HP, I'm turning 4800rpm. I think you are 415HP. I did run a 23Marage Plus, 5150 rpm and a 25 Mirage Plus at around 4600 rpm. That's close, I have a hard time looking at the tach at WOT.:shades:

Reddog your need a 25 or 26. The quad now has compitition from Turbo it is called the Fusion.

the Quad IV and the Quad IV O/T ARE NOT the same propellers.... the O/T has a smaller diameter and more rake and some cup for increase hull lift... not sure how it'd run on a 22 but runs extremely well on a 16 and 18...

1969 classic 16
60-62@4800-4900 speedo not GPS yet
351W Ford (complete re0build)
HP 300 plus?
Alpha 1 1.5
Mirage 23p
Latham steering
Bennett tabs
thru hull

I am able produce these results consistently. Flat water, sea level (New Orleans), water temp 75 degrees, 15 gallons fuel, just me on-board. Been told by a few people a cupped prop is like swinging an additional 1"?
Would be nice to get closer to 70.

Getting a few more things twicked and engine dyno'd next month.
Thanks

I paid 400.00 for a labbed hydromotive 27p. I think your a little high on your price, try around 200.00 and it will sell!!

Rootsy,

can you bend those blades to a LH rotation, it's exactly what I need:rlol::eek:

I'll get right on it... but then it'll be "labbed" and the price will again be $400 :rlol:

That was good! I was being realistic in todays market with the price. /Things just aren't the same. It is a good prop though!!!

Mario, I saw a 25" LH Quad 4 in the Detroit Craigs List, here's the info if you think it might work.(lefthand 25 pitch call mart at 586 634 8677 )
