I waited since July when I took it out, and waited, and waited, and waited and finally, last week, the people at Premier Upholstry in Sarasota, called me. (They do a lot of Donzi's work) Ohhhhhhh, it's soooooo great looking. They are the VERY BEST!

(Uhhhhhhhhh, when it's solid white, does one ask people to take their nasty shoes off?)

So, here's what it used to look like:

Then here it is all over my garage taken out:

This is our new seat for the Z29. Done by McLeod in Detroit Michigan. Power drop outs. All stainless steel frame. No WOOD!

The rest of the interior will also be completed this winter.

Donzigo and Trueser, can you post the contact’s name and phone number of where you got your interiors done by? I really need a new interior in my 18 but Built Rite is out of my price range. I don’t know that these places would be any cheaper but it is worth a try. Another option for me is to purchase someone’s used cushions. Anyone have a old interior for a yellow 18?

Donzigo had his made at Premier Performance Interiors in Bradenton. The phone number is 941 752 6271. I talk to Lee Wingard when I'm there. I'm having a couple seats made for the Minx there.

Gentleman,
Built Rite's prices were very reasonable. I chose McLeod because they build the whole seat out of stainless steel. And they were the only ones that made a double wide bolster that I would trust.

Michael McLeod is a great guy he has been around forever. He was a great deal of help and his work is absolutely perfect. This seat is rock solid and is worth every penny. My opinion is that his seats are the top of the line.

You always pay dearly for the best.

I have more pictures if needed. Or any questions drop me a email.

Thanks for all the kind words. I'm blown away at how great it looks. I had no idea it would change the appearance so much. I had seen the 38ZR at the St. Pete boat show and loved the way it looked, so simple and neat; so, that was the look I was shooting for.

As to the question of how the words DONZI got on the rear headrest. the upholsterly shop sends out a piece of the (naugahide/leather/?) to an embroidery shop. With the advent of electronics, most of the larger embroidery shops either have the machine or have access to someone who does it for them.

John Mitchell (Bea's Nest) & I have been on the boat for the last two days, just running and running, for 6/8 hours each day. (FYI: For you NAW-THEN-ERS......he even wears shorts......it's a little chilly for me). People on the intercoastal give the thumbs up as they pass and some comment. Kinda nice to hear it after being off the water for so many monthes.

Donzig,
It really looks fantastic!!!!! The all white looks really is a clean look- I love it.

As far as the shoes, most boaters will probably be taking them off as soon as they see your interior... I am sure the rest will gladly comply- or watch from the dock as the barefoot folks pull away.

Don't know if you are heading out this weekend, but I am putting my powerhead back together today and hope to get out tomorrow (sunday). Will be under 3000rpm for a while, but it is hard to pass up these 75 degree sunshine days even if i will be slow on the h2o. call me if you are out.
