My dad is looking for a boat for his place in Georgia, he's pretty close to the ocean, so want's something he can take out there, and is considering WAC's.

Just thought I'd ask here for some advice as I was looking for some for him.

Grady white, 83, 86 88 20' ers.
Aquasport
Pro-line

He's looking to spend under 8k, so it looks like a late 80's somewhere

What are the problem areas on these boats (any, or hull specific) ie transoms / etc. What are the best ways to look for these problems?

Outboard vs Inboard

Thanks
Wayne

Grady's: Heavy, rock solid, good ride. Have some transom issues, check closely..
Aquasports: Heavy, wet ride, stringer issues..
No idea on the Pro-lines...
F23 Donzi :) :)
Scott,

I LOVE the F23's,....but he's looking with something with a small cabin,... I WON'T let him get a Cuddy Cruiser,....the King Fishing is too good up there!!

I saw a FC23 the other day,...nice, but not enough access to the bow

Thanks again!!

We see lots of Robalos around here. Seem to stand up. And MAKO.

my dad has a 02 proline with a 150 merc, boat is incredible, handles the water very well, takes big waves no problem, heavy and wide but a great boat overall, the only problems we have with it are the merc motor which hasnt ran right all summer, but the hull is very nice.

Can't go wrong with a Whaler. Just have to get over sticker shock and then find one. Look at the condition not the age.
